Worked example
6,000 business miles in the first half and 4,000 in the second: 6,000 × 72.5¢ = $4,350.00, plus 4,000 × 76¢ = $3,040.00, for $7,390.00. Using 72.5¢ for the whole year would give $7,250.00. 150 medical miles in April and 150 in August come to $66.00.
Milesheet does this per trip, by date, so you don't have to split the log yourself.
